Uses: Cigar boxes, closet linings, interior trim, clothes chests, boat building, musical instruments
Properties: A mahogany colored specie, light in weight and relatively soft. The wood is aromatic and sometimes develops resin pockets.
Machining: South American Cedar is easy to work and finish, taking on a smooth polish.
Seasoning: Dries quickly without splitting or warping.
